Postgraduate research student, Amy Gray, wins award at INQUA Congress

Postgraduate research student, Amy Gray, has won €500 for Best Poster Award for Young Researchers at the 20th Congress of the International Quaternary Association (INQUA).

INQUA Congress is held every four years and is the major conference for research focussing on the Quaternary.

This year, 2,539 delegates attended the conference from 75 countries, and was the largest conference ever hosted in Dublin.

There were 1,476 posters presented at INQUA this year, with four prizes awarded to early career researchers and PhD students.

Prizes were awarded for the poster’s clarity and scientific significance.
