Professor Ed Brown talks at the 2019 UN Climate Summit

Professor Ed Brown has been at the UN Climate Summit in New York discussing the Modern Energy Cooking Systems project.

Ed Brown spke about the UK's $40 million Modern Energy Cooking Systems projects (MECS) commitment to help “do things differently” in solving clean cooking: Investing in new technologies, building partnerships & esp. listening to local people who need these solutions. Ed will have an inaugural lecture on the 9th October where anyone can attend to hear more about this and many other great examples of work that have contributed to this celebration of Ed and his achievements over 30 years in development research – most of which has been here with us in Loughborough.
