Antonis’ visit will be hosted by Prof Eric Sheppard, the Humbolt Chair and ex-President of the AAG. The aim of the visit is to progress two major outputs, organise a seminar, hold a masterclass with postgraduates, and hopefully organise a public-facing event showcasing his work across all three current grants. In addition, the plan is to promote the idea of common future activities including reciprocal research visits, field trips and joint major research grant bids.
Distinguished Travel Grant for Dr Antonis Vradis
Dr Antonis Vradis has been awarded one of Loughborough University's Distinguished Travel Grants. This is for a two-month visit during Aug-Sept-Oct to the Department of Geography at UCLA.
