This is wonderful news that recognises David’s contributions across research, teaching, enterprise and leadership. David is a geomorphologist and sedimentologist with a particular focus on glacial environments. His collegiate style, accomplished and internationally recognised science, and contributions to Geography, the School and the University, make this thoroughly deserved and very welcome promotion.
