This ranking highlights the outstanding work being delivered across our English degree programmes. Loughborough also ranked 1st in the UK for ‘Career after 15 months’ for English and Creative Writing, indicating the high percentage of students securing graduate-level jobs or pursuing further professional study within 15 months of graduating.
Head of English, Jennifer Cooke, shared her thoughts on the achievement:

To have this after what has also been a very difficult pandemic year for everyone is a particular testament to our teamwork and commitment, and to the excellence of our teaching and the learning outcomes of our students.’
