A unique, exciting, and ambitious range of courses taught by internationally leading scholars, teachers, and researchers.

English at Loughborough explores culture and communication in context, developing in our students a critical approach to both literary histories and contemporary literatures and theories.

Our courses are designed to have a strong central focus on English literature and language, yet enable students to explore more interdisciplinary, comparative aspects of the field, such as American literary and visual cultures, creative writing and film.
