We’re able to complete a huge range of laboratory experiments throughout the course. We’re also provided with a two-week outdoor field course, which enables students to use their knowledge from lectures and apply it to real-life situations.

I love how broad the course is. As someone who was not 100% sure where I fit in the construction industry, it was so valuable to be able to learn about all the different areas and disciplines.

I am now employed by Morgan Sindall Construction, who sponsored me throughout my degree, working as a Site Manager. I have recently completed a 3-storey modular teaching block, housing several science labs and teaching areas.

The adoption of new technologies and software is rapidly making the construction industry more efficient. The School’s computer labs have cutting-edge software, which has provided me with a head start now that I have graduated.

I went on a placement at KSS Architects in their Sevenoaks office. I was an Architectural Assistant, so I shadowed the Lead Architect on different projects, as well as working on producing technical and strategy drawings.
