Can you confirm you have received my payment?

When you pay online you will receive an email receipt. Your payment will also show on your statements. If you need any further confirmation, please contact the Finance Office.

If you are unable to pay your fees by the deadline given in your statements you should contact the Finance Office to discuss options. It may be possible to support you through setting up a regular payment plan. Financial Advice can also be accessed via the Student Advice Service.

I’m thinking of taking a leave of absence or withdrawing, will I still be charged?

Under University Regulation XVI, if you take Leave of Absence of withdraw from your programme, you will be charged fees on a pro rata basis.

I have a studentship, when will my monthly stipend be paid?

If you are receiving a studentship with a monthly stipend it will be paid on the final Tuesday of every month.

I have a studentship, how can I update my bank details?

You can update your bank details by logging in to the Student Self Service portal.

I am a Doctoral Researcher and I have not received my student loan...

Once your Doctoral Loan is approved by Student Finance, the University confirms your registration to release your loan. If you have had confirmation from Student Finance that your loan is approved, and you have completed registration, please contact the Doctoral College Office.
