CEO, KP Snacks

Nick was recognised for his extraordinary achievement in the fast-moving consumer goods industry with a Distinguished Alumni Award in 2014.

Starting out as a graduate trainee for Mars Confectionery, Nick gained international commercial business experience with United Biscuits and Dubai-based business Inchcape, before moving to Kraft Foods in 2000 to establish their presence in the Middle East.

He is credited with developing Kraft’s performance in the UK and his promotion to head up and integrate the Cadbury and Kraft business here in 2010 followed several years working for Kraft in the Middle East, central Europe, the UK and the company’s regional headquarters in Switzerland.

As President of Kraft UK & Ireland, Nick was very supportive of the company’s commitment to Fairtrade with cocoa farmers in Ghana. Nick himself was born in the Ghanaian capital of Accra.

His commitment to sustainability continued when he served as Chair of the Food & Drink Federation’s Sustainability Steering Group.

Now Chief Executive Officer of KP Snacks, Nick continues to build on his experience of leading some of the most recognisable brand names in the UK. Negotiating tough economic climates, his tenures at KP and Kraft have included company restructures, integration projects and relocations to secure the future of these businesses in the UK.

Married and father of two boys, Nick runs and cycles to keep fit and enjoys watching most sports, including the famous Arsenal.

At Loughborough University he resided in Elvyn Richards hall. He met his wife in his first year and still goes skiing every year with a group of ‘Lufbra’ friends.
