Jill Ross

Jill was recognised for her outstanding contribution to the retail consulting industry with a Distinguished Alumni Award in 2017.
Jill is a Managing Director in Accenture’s UK and Ireland Retail Consulting Practice and has devoted her career to the retail industry. She has more than 20 years of retail experience working on both the retailer and consulting sides of the sector.
After graduating from Loughborough with a first class honours degree, Jill began her retail career at Marks & Spencer as a Commercial Manager. Since then she has worked in retail consulting for Accenture (twice), Elixirr and some boutique consultancies.
Over the last two decades Jill has advised leading UK and international retailers across grocery, fashion, general merchandise and luxury, helping to transform their businesses in response to ever-changing customer behaviour and disruption in the marketplace.
In addition Jill is very active within the industry, helping to inspire and develop women leaders. She is a trustee for Women in Retail, an inclusive community for accomplished and emerging female leaders in the retail sector, and an ambassador and mentor for Be Inspired, a campaign to proactively develop future female leaders.
Jill was recently a guest speaker at the School where she delivered a fascinating talk about the future role of retailing.
