Dr Ellen Fungisai Chipango

Dr Ellen Fungisai Chipango successfully completed her doctorate at the University of Johannesburg, South Africa. She was awarded an African Pathways NIHSS–CODESRIA doctoral scholarship for her research towards a PhD in Development Studies. Currently, she is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the DSI/NRF/Newton Fund Trilateral Chair in Transformative Innovation, the 4IR and Sustainable Development, College of Business and Economics, University of Johannesburg.
Her current research interests include political ecology of energy transitions, the ethics and morality of energy policy and policy processes within development bureaucracies. Her published work appears in international journals such as the Geoforum, GeoJournal, Energy Research and Social Science, Journal of Political Ecology, Journal of Human Development and Capabilities
