Dr David William Braithwaite, Florida State University
David Braithwaite received his Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology and Cognitive Science from Indiana University in 2014 (dissertation: “Grounding mathematics learning”; mentor: Robert Goldstone). From 2014 to 2018, he served as an Institute of Education Sciences Postdoctoral Fellow in the Psychology Department at Carnegie Mellon University (mentor: Robert Siegler). In 2018, he joined the Psychology Department of Florida State University, where he is now an Associate Professor in Cognitive and Developmental Psychology and the director of the Queen of the Sciences lab. His research interests are logical and mathematical thinking, learning, and development. He studies these topics through a combination of correlational and experimental methods and formal cognitive modelling.
Dr Changsheng Wu, National University of Singapore
Changsheng Wu is a Presidential Young Professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) and an assistant professor by courtesy in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the National University of Singapore (NUS). He is also a PI in the Institute for Health Innovation and Technology (iHealthtech) and the N.1 Institute for Health, NUS. His research focuses on developing wireless wearables and intelligent robots for energy harvesting, biosensing and therapeutic applications, leveraging bioelectronics, materials science, and advanced manufacturing to create solutions for sustainable living and environment. He has been recognized by international awards including MRS Early Career Distinguished Presenter, Asia Pacific Biomedical Engineering Consortium (APBEC) Young Scholar Award, and TechConnect Innovation Award.
