Air Quality Measurements, Health Effects, and Future Trends

IAS Visiting Fellows Professor Akhilendra Bhushan Gupta and Professor Alamelu Sundaresan, along with invited guest speaker Dr Lipika Deka (De Montfort University) deliver a seminar on their research.

Accurate determination of polluted air quality and, the relationships between the air quality and human health are of significant importance for developing air quality prevention and management plan. In addressing this point, the session aims to discuss various examples of field studies, sample collection, remote sensing and others for air quality mapping (both indoor and outdoor quality) and their potential health effects. The session will start with presentations from experts followed by a panel discussion.
