We are seeking to create a diverse and dynamic Advisory Board for the IAS, consisting of six academic members with expertise across a wide range of fields and disciplines. Members of the Board will advise on the strategic direction of the IAS and help to ensure that our research activities reach all areas of the University.
The time commitment is envisaged as broadly equivalent to membership of other University committees (Senate, Council, etc.). The Advisory Board will meet once per term and members will be invited to sit on one or two IAS panels (maximum) per annum. In addition, there is an expectation that members of the Advisory Board will engage occasionally with IAS events, meeting and welcoming Visiting Fellows.
