For at least 60 years the University has been training excellent engineers from Pakistan who have returned home to advance their careers in various branches of industry, science, academia and business. Indeed, Loughborough’s present-day undergraduates from Pakistan tend be especially enthusiastic about taking up the sandwich-year professional placements which form a part of most degree programmes here.
