Information and FAQs for European applicants

Loughborough University are proud to welcome students from across Europe to study at both our Leicestershire and London campuses. Students from Europe choose a whole range of subject areas to study at different levels, from Erasmus students visiting for a semester through to undergraduate, taught masters and PhD students.

For the 2015/16 academic year, we are proud to have 181 Erasmus+ exchange students studying on our campus.

Loughborough University is a member of the UNITECH International academic network – an association of leading European engineering universities which aims to prepare qualified engineering students for their professional future. This enables engineering students to spend at least one semester at a university abroad in Europe, to understake a placement and to participate in professional coaching and training. Loughborough University Vice Chancellor Robert Allison is currently President of UNITECH, highlighting our dedication to the organisation.

The following pages include information about entry requirements, as well as some of our current European students sharing their Loughborough experiences. If you are interested in studying at Loughborough University, our International Office team would be happy to help and support you, so please don't hesitate to get in touch.
