Mailroom and Parcels

 

Mailroom

The University Mailroom provides a collection and delivery service for external and internal mail.

Stamps can be purchased over the counter and a mail and parcel delivery service up to 30kg is provided.

Please be aware that the Mailroom is not a Post Office Counter and therefore cannot provide additional services.

All parcels will be delivered to the Manzoni mail room.

Opening times

  • Monday to Friday 8.45am to 5:00pm (reception area open 8:30am to 5:00pm)
  • Saturday 9:00am to 2:00pm (term-time only)

Collection services

The Mailroom also provides a collection service for the following carriers:

Royal Mail
DHL
Parcelforce Worldwide
UPS

Delivery timescales, destinations and prices are available on each carrier website. Please ensure your mail is suitably packaged for collection. All carriers collect by 4pm each weekday.

Tracked mail can be provided by the carrier direct, not via Mailroom Services.

Parcels

Butler Court, Cayley, David Collett, Elvyn Richards, Falkner Eggington, Faraday, Hazlerigg-Rutland, John Phillips, Robert Bakewell, Royce, Rutherford, Telford and Towers

All parcels will be delivered to the Manzoni mail room.

Letter post will be delivered direct to your Hall Reception. Parcels and secure items can be collected from Parcels.

When arranging delivery of your parcel - in order to help us to identify you, please remember to include your University ID number in your address details.

Students will be contacted via email when there is an item to collect.

Please bring your Student ID card for identification at the Parcels counter in order to collect your parcel/item.

Unite Halls

Letters will be delivered by the postman into relevant post boxes. 

If you wish to receive parcels you will need to complete a parcel disclaimer form giving the hall reception permission to take parcels on your behalf. You will be given a form on arrival or you can request one at the hall reception.

If you have any queries, please speak to your Hall Reception.

Forest Court

Post is delivered directly to each flat.  Reception cannot accept any parcels for students.
