Extracurricular activity

With over 100 clubs and societies on offer through the Students’ Union, there are plenty of opportunities to develop enterprising skills outside your studies. The Loughborough Enterprise Network runs a range of free inspirational talks by established entrepreneurs and workshops to help you turn business aspirations into practical goals. The Enterprise Hub in the Students' Union is open throughout the week for drop-in sessions and support for new ideas.

The University's Personal Best programme allows you to gain formal recognition for your achievements in extracurricular activities.

Business incubator space

Our campus is particularly well-catered for graduate start-ups. The Studio offers professional work space at nominal rent, along with a tailored mentoring programme and access to relevant University facilities and expertise. Places are offered competitively, each year. The Advanced Technology Innovation Centre (located on the University's Science and Enterprise Park) also offers rent-a-desks and units with flexible tenancies.
