The Loughborough Sport Hall of Fame seeks to recognise and celebrate Loughborough's elite performers, coaches and leaders - and nominations for 2024 are open.

Many Loughborough alumni have reached senior international level within their sport. Olympic Medallists, World Champions, top sports coaches, leaders and practitioners are recognised within the Hall of Fame for their achievements.

The Hall of Fame features some of the UK’s most famous sporting stars, including Lord Sebastian Coe KBE, Paula Radcliffe MBE and Baroness Grey-Thompson DBE.

In 2023, five new members joined the prestigious Hall of Fame

Ama Agbeze MBE, Maddie Hinch MBE, and Laura Unsworth MBE were inducted into the performance category, recognising their achievements as athletes in their respective sports.

Dr Sam Erith was recognised in the performance support category, whilst Amanda Bennett was inducted as a sports leader.

Nominations for 2024 are open and will close on 1 March 2024. We welcome submissions from alumni and friends to recognise the amazing successes of some of Loughborough’s greatest sportspeople.

You are encouraged to carefully read the Hall of Fame Terms of Reference which also includes information on the Hall of Fame committee.

Nominations should be submitted using the online form. We look forward to receiving your nominations.
