After last week’s last minute defeat to Saracens, Lightning will be looking to bounce back against the Merseyside club. After several several impressive perfomances off the bench and for the development side, Head Coach Rhys Edwards has handed starting shirts to Leah Bartlett, Emily Tuttosi, Deteshya Harper and Bethan Zeidler.
Also returning to the squad after a successful international tour of South Africa is Lightning Captain Rachel Malcolm, Helen Nelson, Rhona Lloyd and Jenny Maxwell.
The game, which forms part of a double header - Loughborough Lightning’s development side also play Firwood Waterloo Ladies - will kick off at 2pm on the 1st XV pitch on Epinal Way.
