MA Social Media and Political Communication
After finishing my undergraduate in psychology I wanted to complete a masters degree in a slightly different subject.
I thoroughly enjoyed doing a masters in Social media and political communications. The course offered a variety of different modules from political marketing to representation in media. Every module was interesting and offered completely different perspectives on media theories.
My masters degree really helped develop my critical analysis skills to a higher level than undergraduate. The assignments challenged organisation skills and resilience as the workload is a large one. The course included multiple group presentations which helped improve my ability to work collaboratively with a variety of different people.
Since finishing my degree, I’ll be starting a training job within the NHS before hopefully starting my training as a clinical psychologist.
