Your personal safety is of paramount important to us and we have lots of measures in place to protect and support our campus community.
Loughborough is a very safe place for people to come and enjoy the best student experience on offer in the UK. Everyone in the Loughborough Family looks out for one another and this is part of what makes our campus such an exceptional place to be.
As a University, we pride ourselves on our vigilance and ability to respond quickly to any given situation. Here we will outline a few of our many security precautions that aim to make your student life as happy, healthy and productive as possible.
Campus security
Our campus is supervised 24 hours a day, all year round by a team of highly-experienced and expertly-skilled security staff who are on constant look out for your personal safety. All of our security staff are trained first aiders giving you and your family peace of mind that there will always be someone trust-worthy on hand to assist with a variety of matters.
Security patrols are extensive, and at night during term time, our team cover the main road leading from the University to the town centre and some residential areas that have a high student population.
The security team also manage traffic and parking around campus, making them your go-to contact for any queries relating to your student permits.
