- The programme has Educational Recognition from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), and will prepare you to take accreditation assessments with UKSCA and the certification examination with NSCA.
- Develop practical skills during practice-based learning. Previous students have undertaken practice-based learning at Nottingham Rugby, Leicester City FC, NFL Academy, Leicester Riders, Loughborough Grammar School, and Loughborough Sport alongside accredited coaches working with our own elite athletes.
- You can also add practical experience to your CV by assisting Loughborough Sport strength and conditioning coaches, and volunteering or taking additional practice-based learning with our Coach and Volunteer Academy alongside your studies.
- Undertake a research project under the supervision of world-leading research staff, with expertise in neuromuscular physiology, the biomechanics of sports technique and strength exercise, disability sport, and female athlete physiology. Collaborative projects with practice-based learning partners are also possible.
