LUSIP - Cost and Deposit

LUSIP comes at no extra cost to applicants and is free to participate in.

However, to apply offer holders must have paid:  

  • £3,500 in total (their £2,500 Master’s deposit and an additional £1000 LUSIP deposit) 
  • If you have only paid your £2,500 Master’s deposit, you can top up £1000 before applying for LUSIP to gain full eligibility. 

The £3,500 is a deposit and not a programme fee – the full amount will be deducted from your tuition fees once you have started your Master’s programme. LUSIP is entirely free to participate in. Students are responsible only for their own travel/accommodation costs during the internship. 

LUSIP 项目对申请者不收取任何额外项目费用，参与项目完全免费。
但申请者需满足以下押金支付要求：

  • 已支付 总计 £3,500 押金（£2,500 硕士课程押金 + £1,000 LUSIP 押金）
  • 如果你仅支付了 £2,500 硕士课程押金，可以在申请 LUSIP 前补缴 £1,000 以获得完整申请资格

这 £3,500 为押金而非项目费用，在你开始硕士课程后将全额抵扣学费。
LUSIP 项目本身完全免费，学生仅需自行承担实习期间的交通和住宿费用。

Non-progression to Master’s programme

If you do not progress to your Master’s programme for which you hold an offer, under no circumstances will your LUSIP deposit of £1000 be refunded (including as a result of visa issues). However, in this case you would still be welcome to undertake your LUSIP internship in China if you wish. 

如果你最终未入读已获得录取的硕士课程，LUSIP 的 £1,000 押金在任何情况下都不予退还（包括因签证问题未能入学）。
但在这种情况下，你仍可选择在中国完成 LUSIP 实习项目。
