Senior Leader Apprenticeships (SLA)
There are a limited number of places available each year to Loughborough University staff for the Senior Leader Apprenticeships, run through our Loughborough Business School.
The places are fully funded by the University through our Apprenticeship Levy for two years (up to Postgraduate Diploma level) and enable staff to study part-time towards a Postgraduate qualification and to develop the management and leadership capabilities required to lead at a senior level.
There are two options available and it will depend on your own experience and interest as to which is most suitable for you:
- PG Diploma in Business Administration
- PG Diploma in Strategic Leadership

Both programmes require you to be released from your role for at least 20% of your time to support off-the-job training. You will therefore need the full support of both your line manager and your Dean/Director and should seek this in advance of expressing an interest.
