Physiotherapy

If you have a musculoskeletal problem, you may be referred to our in-house physiotherapy service.

Loughborough University offers physiotherapy services to staff who are injured in the workplace to support these individuals to return to work effectively as soon as possible. The offer of physiotherapy services is made without any admission of liability, fault or guilt on behalf of the University. Such services are provided supplementary to and following the treatment plan recommended by the member of staff’s treating specialist (whether an NHS or private clinical practitioner), which must be shared with the University. Staff are not required to use Loughborough University’s physiotherapy service as part of their treatment plan, but under this scheme the University is unable to pay for physiotherapy (or similar) services provided by any external provider.

We understand that visiting for the first time may be daunting, so we've put together a list of frequently asked questions to help prepare you for your appointment.
