Getting around campus is now easier, greener, and more convenient than ever with our free, fully electric campus shuttle buses. Whether you’re heading to lectures, the library, or the Students’ Union, the new buses make moving across campus quick, comfortable, and sustainable.

How the shuttle bus works

Our free campus shuttle service, available Monday to Friday, connects key points across campus. With fully electric vehicles, these buses help reduce over 130 tonnes of carbon emissions annually, improving air quality and creating a healthier environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Travelling beyond campus

If you’re heading into town or arriving from the train station, the Sprint Kinchbus service connects the campus with Loughborough town centre and the train station.

During term time, the service runs every 10 minutes, Monday to Saturday, with journey times of approximately:

  • 18 minutes to Loughborough town centre
  • 20 minutes to Loughborough train station
