Successful Smart Cobotics Workshop

Not even back-to-back storms disrupting road, rail and air travel could stop our guests from attending the workshop that was held at the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) on 23rd January.

The event saw industrial representatives and academics come together to identify and address the perceived barriers of introducing collaborative robotic systems into the manufacturing space. The interactive sessions throughout the day provided the opportunity for a wide variety of organisations operating within diverse industry sectors to share their experience and explore how research, and potentially feasibility studies, could assist them to achieve their future production goals.

We extend much deserved thanks to those who braved the weather and made the event such a resounding success, and we look forward to sharing the learnings and proposals from the very constructive discussions.
