PGR Workshop - Probabilistic Flood Forecasting Game

IAS Residential Fellow Mr Sumit Dugar delivers a workshop for Postgraduate Researchers (PGRs) -

In this activity, participants will be tasked with allocating artificial resources to plan early actions for fictional village facing flood risk. Designated to simulate real-world decision-making, the game provides insight into how government stakeholders must navigate uncertainty, limited resources and scientific forecasts. This workshop will highlight how innovations in science and technology can enhance risk communication for decision-makers and vulnerable communities.

Arrivals from 10:15 am for a 10:30 noon start.
