You can get a real feel for the Loughborough experience by meeting some of our proactive student society members and engaged alumni network in Hong Kong, before you start your journey to the UK. A pre-departure event in August will give you the opportunity to network with other future, current and past Loughborough students, and then you will be invited on an exiting weekend camp in September organised by the student society committee. This is a perfect way to get know other students who you will be moving into Loughborough with. You will be a part of Loughborough before you even arrive!
You'll also have the support of our alumni network. Active since the 1950s, the Hong Kong Alumni group consists of both recent and not so recent graduates. They meet for dinner every month, as well as organising boat trips, ladies nights and much more. Our alumni are successful in a variety of careers, including senior roles in the banking and financial sector. This active network provides mentoring opportunities for prospective and current students. Loughborough really is for life for our students from Hong Kong!
