Case studies

Extensive field trials have been conducted to establish the efficacy and practicality of the Acoustic Emission (AE) monitoring approach. Sensors have been installed to monitor slopes in six countries (UK, Italy, Canada, Austria, Malaysia and Myanmar) making measurements of AE continuously for 130+ monitoring years. AE rates were proportional to measured slope displacement rates in all cases.
