I want to clear my Outlook autocomplete cache

Clearing the autocomplete cache from your Outlook account helps prevent sending emails to the incorrect recipient and avoids accidentally disclosing confidential or personal information about others. We recommend that you clear the autocomplete cache at least every couple of months.

  1. Open Outlook.

  2. On the File tab, select Options.

  3. Select the Mail tab.

  4. Under Send Messages, select Empty Auto-Complete List, and hit OK.
