Promotion to Senior Lecturer Sub-Committee

Terms of Reference

  1. To meet twice per year or more frequently, if required. Successful promotions will take effect from the first day of the following month.
  2. To consider proposals for promotion to Senior Lecturer, according to the published criteria and with careful consideration of information made available to the Committee about personal circumstances impacting the career trajectory.
  3. To establish and review the criteria for promotion to Senior Lecturer, and to ensure that they are in line with the University Strategy.
  4. To review the effectiveness of the Committee annually, to ensure the conduct and decision making is aligned to University values and is fair, equitable and inclusive.
