Christine Hodgson is Chair of Severn Trent Plc.

Before taking up the role at Severn Trent in April 2020, Christine spent 22 years at Capgemini, where she was Chairman of the UK business, the Global Chief CSR Officer and a member of the Group Executive Committee.

Christine is the Senior Independent Director of Standard Chartered PLC and Chair of the Remuneration Committee.

She sits on the board of The Prince of Wales’ charity - Business in the Community (BITC) and chairs the BITC Blackpool Pride of Place Partnership which aims to help regenerate Blackpool and the Fylde Coast.

Christine chairs The Careers and Enterprise Company, an independent company which she was asked by Government to establish to help inspire and prepare young people for the world of work.

Christine is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales.

A graduate from Loughborough University in 1987, with a First-Class Honours in Accounting and Financial Management, she was awarded an Honorary Degree by the University in July 2019.
