Kareem Ahmed

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kareem Ahmed who studied an undergraduate master's in Computer Science and graduated in 2020 with a first class honours.
Whilst at university Kareem was heavily involved in societies and clubs. He was the Chairman of the Loughborough Students' Union Videogame Society and the Vice-Chair of the Tabletop Games Society.
Kareem was deeply involved in Loughborough life and he also completed two summer internships whilst at university. After graduating he went on to become a software engineer.
Kareem passed away after a tragic road accident which also claimed the life of his loving girlfriend Chastyn.
Dearly loved son of Sarah and Essam, beloved brother of Camall. Beloved grandson of Elaine and Clifford cherished nephew, cousin and friend to many.
Kareem was a former Bournside School and Sixth Form student and masters graduate of Loughborough University.
Kareem was an exceptional software engineer and proud member of many gaming societies.
