Miranda Filmer
4 April 1992- 10 June 2022
It is with great sadness that I am letting you know that Miranda Filmer died aged 30 following a long and brave battle against Neuroendocrine Cancer diagnosed in 2017.
Miranda absolutely adored her time at Loughborough which was defined for her by great education, incredible sport - for her Lacrosse and wonderful camaraderie, friendship and fun.
Miranda completed at Post Graduate MsCR in 2021 in Equine Rehydration which was described by her Professor Meriel Moore-Colyer as an outstanding piece of work.
Miranda was particularly grateful to her Geography Tutor.
Any of her old friends or members of the Loughborough academia are welcome at her service of thanksgiving on 7th September details of which are in the Horse and Hound obituary.
