Deirdre Wanda Hayward

Deirdre Hayward passed away peacefully on Wednesday 28th June 2023 aged 77 years. 

She attended Loughborough from 1990 to 1993 and studied Information and Library Studies.  

The alumna spent much of her life working as a librarian in what was previously the Charles Frear Medical Library which is now a part of De Montfort University.  

Deirdre had many interests including home crafts and performing arts but her most valued time was spent gardening and spending time with her family.
