Peter Robert Alp

Peter attended Ealing County Grammar School and swam for Middlesex County where he won the ASA Junior Butterfly Championship in 1951.

He completed His National Service in Malta in the years 1953-1955 and after attended Loughborough College where he qualified as a PE and English Teacher and graduated in 1958.

Peter worked for the British Airways for 35 years until 1995.

He married his wife, Thelma Rose Akers in 1960 and together they had their two children, David Robert in 1969 and Suzanne Elizabeth in 1972. Later, Peter’s Grandchildren were born with his Grandson Matthew in 1995 and Granddaughter Emma in 1998.

Peter will be missed by his family.
