Information About Your Physiology Test Booking

Before you arrive:

For any visit to the lab, we require you complete a health questionnaire and a consent form, at least 24 hours before your visit.

If you are booked in for a cycling or running physiology assessment (standard or ultra-endurance fuel utilisation) please follow this next link to fill in a questionnaire about your training and goals, again at least 24 hours before your visit. We use this as a basis for discussions during your visit, to ensure that we get as much information from you as possible to make your feedback report as specific to your needs as possible.

When you arrive:

• There are parking charges on campus (up to 2 hours - £1, up to 4 hours - £2), however as a user of our service you get 2 hours free parking.  You will need to register your car number plate at one of our campus registration points, or on the tablet at reception in the Performance Centre on arrival.   You can input your registration details at any point during your visit however it does need to be done within 2 hours of entry to campus. As your parking duration will probably tip over the 2 hours, please go to https://www.apcoaconnect.com/ after your visit to check so you can pay any charges if necessary. 
• Report to Reception at the entrance to the Performance Centre and ask for the physiologist you are booked in with.  If you are delayed or get lost, please call reception on 01509 226212.

 Further Information:

• Please bring your own, filled drinks bottle.  We do have a water cooler in the lab which you are welcome to use.
• If you own a heart rate monitor, please bring this with you.  Otherwise we have ones in the lab, which will be cleaned and disinfected after use.
• We have a shower in the lab that you are welcome to use after your session.
• Please ensure you have completed the pre-visit training questionnaire as well as the health and consent forms prior to your visit.

Booking Conditions:

Please note that you must complete the online payment (so confirming your attendance) at least 72 hours prior to your visit.

Please note we have a 72-hour cancellation policy whereby cancelling/rescheduling your appointment within 72 hours of the appointment time will incur a £50 fee.
