National sports partners

With our High Performance Athletics Centre acting as their National Centre, the governing body for athletics have made our campus their home. Making the most of our state of the art facilities, you will regularly see Olympic & Paralympic medallists on campus striving for athletic perfection.

Similar to British Athletics, the national governing body for swimming make use of our Olympic size pool and world class gym facilities, with Loughborough based swimmers regularly winning Olympic and World titles, and breaking world records. British Swimming and Swim England also have offices at SportPark.

Loughborough is one of two homes of triathlon in the UK, with the Loughborough Triathlon Performance Centre squad making use of our world class facilities. British Triathlon's Head Office is also at SportPark.

With their own area of Powerbase, our sector leading strength and conditioning gym, weightlifting are a regular presence on campus, with Olympic and Paralympic athletes on site daily.

With a state of the art, purpose build cricket centre in the middle of campus, the ECB have made Loughborough there home for more than a decade. This facility is used by our leading students as well as some of the world's best players.

The Red Roses have made Loughborough University their year round base, with the Netball-Badminton Centre and Powerbase Gym their hubs. England Netball have also recently relocated to SportPark.
