Loughborough University ranked 2nd in the UK for Sociology and 3rd for Criminology

Loughborough University has been recognised by the Guardian University League Tables as being 2nd in the UK for Sociology, and 3rd in the UK for Criminology.

This ranking highlights the outstanding work being delivered across our Criminology, Sociology and Social Policy degree programmes.

Head of Criminology, Sociology and Social Policy, Line Nyhagen, expressed her satisfaction with the League table results:

‘I am delighted that the outstanding quality of our Sociology and Criminology programmes at Loughborough has been recognised yet again in a prestigious national league table, this time in the new The Guardian rankings.
