Meera completed her PhD in Wildlife Conservation Ethics at the University of Sheffield in 2016. Since then, she has held lecturing positions at Newcastle University and the University of Glasgow. 

Meera’s research interests lie in the fields of animal and environmental ethics. She is especially interested in wildlife conservation ethics, climate change politics, and global environmental justice. 

Meera has experience teaching across a range of modules in political philosophy, including animal and environmental ethics, human rights, the history of political thought and feminism.
