Profile
Maria joined Loughborough University as a Postgraduate Researcher in July 2018. In her PhD project she will make use of discourse theory to analyse left and right-wing populists in the USA.
Her research interests include populism, democracy, and post-structuralist discourse theory. Areas of competence not directly related to my current research include International Relations with focus on terrorism, nuclear weapons and war strategy.
