Manasa Narayanan

Manasa is a doctoral researcher at the Department of Communication and Media at Loughborough University. She has a MA in Political Communication from the University of Leeds, and a BA in Psychology (major), Economics and English Literature (minors) from Sophia College, University of Mumbai. 

PGR Supervisors: Prof Dominic Wring (primary supervisor), Dr Brendan Lawson (secondary supervisor)

Her research interest is in exploring how digital media shapes/interacts with political attitudes and behaviour, specifically investigating any gender differences in media consumption and attitudes. Through her research, she wants to further research frameworks for in-depth digital media analysis, as well as study the salience of top-down communicative strategies of political parties in shaping political attitudes and voting intention.
