Our four-storey Pilkington Library is visited by all students during their time at Loughborough. Its range of invaluable services, support and facilities include:

IT Services

Offering a range of IT and communication facilities, IT Services are on-hand to support you through your studies. This includes:

The Microsoft Office 365 platform, delivering a whole range of cloud-based services including a free copy of Microsoft Office to install on up to 5 devices, unlimited data storage with OneDrive for Business and email service.
Access to over 2,000 computers across campus and free specialist software
Free support and advice for your personal devices from our campus-based PC Clinic (7 days a week during term-time)
Device connection to any University printer
Access to online teaching facilities and recorded lectures for work and revision via the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE)

Mathematics Learning Support Centre

Want some extra support with mathematics and statistics? The MLSC is open to all students who need a helping hand, regardless of which course you’re studying. With private and group study areas, daily drop-in sessions and free advice, guidance is never far away. 

Language Centre

Learn a language alongside your studies and enhance your communication skills. The Language Centre can help to give your degree an international edge, enriching your university experience and boosting your employability. The Centre hosts a team of tutors from around the world offering part-time courses and a variety of fantastic opportunities to practice your language of choice.

Academic Language Support Service

Offering a range of workshops, courses and online resources to support UK, EU and international students with their academic writing and English language skills. Whether you're a native or non-native English speaker, you can access support with English language, including workshops, courses, and online resources.
