These facilities include our £17m STEMLab, as well as dedicated anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, molecular and cell biology labs. Below you can join Fran for a tour of some of our bioscience facilities and find out how you will use them during your studies.

Discover STEMLab

Our STEMLab offers modern and well-equipped biosciences facilities, where you will learn techniques fundamental to biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology and genetics.

Here you will develop key skills such as pipetting, microscopy, spectrophotometry, and ELISA, as well as having the opportunity to progress to more advanced techniques, including cell culture and PCR, preparing you for a range of careers in research and industry. Click here to discover more.
