You are expected to take responsibility for your own learning and work independently a lot more than you would as an undergraduate. Even though this can feel daunting at first, you will find that you adjust to this type of learning quickly!

Whilst studying a PhD at Loughborough, I find that the campus is beautiful, and it is a very stimulating place to work. There are always seminars, talks and other events happening across the University, and these are very well promoted.
