Tom is a Senior Fellow in Loughborough University’s Centre for Mathematical Cognition and leads the Mathematics PGCE. An award-winning former Head of Mathematics, his research focuses on effective and equitable mathematics teaching, curriculum design, and practitioner development.

Professor of Physical Education & Pedagogy

Ash's research focuses on Models-based Practice, teacher learning/research and the use of new technologies in learning. He is in an Editor-in-Chief of the peer-reviewed journal Physical Education and Sport Pedagogy (Routledge).
