Our ambassadors

Student Ambassadors are current undergraduate and postgraduate students who represent Loughborough University.

The Student Ambassador role is incredibly varied, which gives students a range of opportunities to enhance their personal development. In addition, the role is incredibly flexible allowing students to fit their work shifts around their study time and extra-curricular activities.

What does the role involve?

The work you do as a student ambassador will depend on your interests, skills and availability. You will help promote Loughborough University to prospective students and visitors through:

    • Assisting with campus visits, tours and Open Days.
    • Creating content for web and social media.
    • Contributing to telephone and online marketing campaigns.
    • Mentoring young people
    • Student Panels and peer-to- peer text chats
    • Participating in photo shoots, videos, focus groups, and other marketing activities.
    • Getting involved in wider University events, such as graduations.

Eligibility

Loughborough University students at all levels (UG, PGT and PGR) are encouraged to apply for the role.

Pay and Hours

Pay: £14.12 per hour (inclusive of Holiday Pay)

Hours: There are no fixed hours per week or month; you have the flexibility to schedule shifts around your studies and other commitments.
