Organisational Development

Online resources

We are aware that colleagues across campus are taking a blended approach to work during these difficult times, with many continuing to work remotely for the majority of their time.

To support your learning and development whilst working remotely there are a wealth of free online courses from world class universities, companies and cultural institutions available for all members of staff.

We have selected some of these courses and resources, then categorised them into the following topics so that you can easily access them from your workplace, or whilst working remotely.

Click on the topics below to find out more.

You may find it useful to create your own personal development plan before signing up to any online learning. Our ‘Planning your development’ pages contain a step-by-step guide which will assist you in:

  • Identifying your priorities for learning
  • Creating your own personal development plan

Alternatively, you can browse the themes above to see what interests you.

Advance HE

Advance HE have developed a number of free member materials on structural racial inequalities as blogposts and guidance in the ‘Understanding structural inequality: theory, evidence, data and storytelling’  series and on the podcasts in the ‘Decolonising identity’ strands.

Online learning guidance

We recognise that online learning is very different to classroom-based learning, so have created guidance to assist you in using online learning as effectively as possible.
